Service Description
This seminar will give you and your dog a basic start and understanding of the sport of dog Agility. This seminar is designed for dogs and or people who are new to the sport and will be led by Amanda Abs. Meet Amanda: Expert Agility Clinician & Accomplished Competitor Amanda has been deeply immersed in the world of agility since 2014, competing since 2015 and teaching since 2016. With thousands of hours dedicated to training and refining her skills under the guidance of top-tier professionals. Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her teaching. She has gained many titles and achievements with her dogs as highlighted below: 3x Regional Championship Winner (2021, 2022, 2023) Agility Trial Champion of Canada (ATChC) Master Steeplechase Dog of Canada (MSCDC) 6th Place at National Championship (2022) Versatility Bronze Excellent (VBX), Expert Standard Bronze Award (ExStB), and many more in AAC agility. Barn Hunt Champion (RATCHX) & First Dutch Shepherd in Canada to receive her RATS title Flyball Master Excellent (FMX) ETD (Expert Trick Dog) & 5th Dutch Shepherd to earn Expert Trick Dog title. Scent Dog Champion & Games Champion (SD-CH & SD-GCH) in 2020, her dog Kali placed 2nd overall in Canada and 1st place in SK, and her dog Molly placed 2nd overall in SK. Amanda’s dedication to her craft is evident in her consistent success across multiple disciplines, from agility to flyball, obedience, scent and disc sports. Her passion for continuous learning ensures she stays at the forefront of training techniques, making her a valuable resource for anyone looking to elevate their skills. Join us for an incredible seminar with Amanda and experience her comprehensive approach to training that combines expertise, passion, and a commitment to lifelong learning! Sessions will be divided into two groups of 7 based on the dogs' abilities. Sessions are 3.5 hours on Saturday and 2.5 hours on Sunday, one morning group of 7 and one afternoon group of 7. Dogs should have a basic understanding of being in a training environment. Dogs will need to be kenneled or in an X-pen when not working. Information packages with more details will be provided following registration. Completion of this seminar will also qualify you for future Agility Field Rentals, as it is only available to individuals with experience.

Cancellation Policy
Payment must be made to secure your spot. Bookings are refundable up until April 16 2025 minus a $25.00 administration fee. Bookings are non-refundable after April 16 2025 has passed unless the spot is filled from a waitlist if present and are still subject to the $25.00 administration fee. A waiver form will be required to be agreed upon to attend. All applicable Sirius Unleashed policies will be adhered to.
